What this site collects, what it doesn’t, and who touches it. Written to be accurate to what the pages actually do, not to what a template says.
The work is carried out by Astral. The contracting entity is Astral Studio LLC, a single-member US company. Questions, requests or complaints go to jordi@jordiamat.com and a human reads them.
jordiamat.com is a static site. No cookies, no analytics, no tracking pixels, no advertising scripts, and nothing stored in your browser. Typefaces are served from this domain, so no font provider sees your visit. I do not know who visited, when, or from where.
There is no form on this site. The buttons open an email, so what I receive is what you chose to write and the address you wrote it from. Email is routed by my email provider and delivered into a mailbox I read. I use it to reply to you and set up a conversation. That is the whole purpose.
An engagement usually means handling material that belongs to your organization — documents, recordings, records, or access to systems you already run. Before anything is connected, we agree in writing what I can see, where it lives, which systems are involved and what happens to that access when the work is complete. That written agreement governs, and it is more specific than this page.
Ask before you send anything. It is a better conversation to have first than to have later.
Nobody pays through this site. If we work together and you pay an invoice, that payment runs through Stripe, which handles the card details directly. I never see or store a full card number. What reaches me is that a payment succeeded, for how much, and the name and email attached to it.
I do not sell your data. I do not hand it to advertisers or data brokers. I do not build profiles, run retargeting, or add you to a mailing list because you once sent a message. Nothing you send me is used to train models.
Information goes only to the services named on this page, the ones that have to carry it for the thing to work, and to anyone the law obliges me to tell.
Enquiries and conversations stay while we are talking and for a sensible period afterwards, so context is not lost if you come back months later. Records attached to paid work are kept as long as tax and accounting rules require. Ask me to delete something and I will, unless I am legally required to keep it.
Wherever you live, you can ask what I hold, ask for a copy, ask me to correct it, or ask me to erase it. Write to jordi@jordiamat.com.
If you are in the EU or the UK, the GDPR gives you those rights explicitly, along with the right to object to processing and to receive your data in a portable form. My legal basis: I process what you send me in order to answer you and to carry out work you asked for, and I keep records where the law obliges me to. You can also complain to your national data protection authority, which in Spain is the AEPD.
Because the contracting entity is a US company working with European clients, information you send reaches servers in both the United States and Europe.
If this page changes, the effective date at the top changes with it. Anything material gets a note.
