Took a tourism platform from zero to a live product (sherppi.app) as sole technical lead. Shipped a Django REST backend, React Native + Expo app, and PostgreSQL, with an AI recommendation engine, geolocation-verified tour navigation, Stripe payments, and full internationalization. Hardened it to zero critical vulnerabilities and cut the core frontend from 3,158 to 1,238 lines (61% smaller) for faster iteration.
Founded a studio building platforms for founder-led teams, with a focus on wellness and practitioner organizations. Run 40+ production services on self-managed Linux (systemd, Docker, Caddy, PostgreSQL) and ship client platforms at several times solo-developer speed, using modern AI tooling including 20+ concurrent coding-agent sessions. Senior technical counterpart to the CTO on a production SaaS event platform. Designed and built the React + GraphQL frontend architecture, migrated core infrastructure to AWS for materially better uptime and scale, and set up CI/CD with CircleCI to cut release friction. Co-led product, turning roadmap decisions into shipped, well-tested features.
Founded Astral Integration and built wellness and education apps in the React Native ecosystem for international clients. Trained and certified as a facilitator across several modalities — the foundation for a studio that now specialises in software for practitioners and teachers. Kept shipping production code throughout.
Founding engineer for an early-stage app supporting women through motherhood. Built the React Native app from scratch and deployed the full backend and cloud infrastructure on AWS, delivering a production-ready MVP in under three months. Mentored junior engineers and shaped the product roadmap with the CEO.
Built React Native apps for pay-per-mile car insurance across iOS and Android. Developed real-time vehicle tracking with GPS processing and crash analytics, and ran the CI/CD pipeline (CircleCI, Fastlane, Crashlytics) through App Store and Play Store releases.
Joined as a full-stack developer and grew into technical leadership at a high-growth property startup. Took the Negotiator app (React Native) from prototype to a core part of the business, built and maintained the Renter platform, and cut release time to minutes with a new deployment pipeline. Mentored junior developers and ran GV Design Sprints.
Designed and built C# ASP.NET Web APIs for enterprise tax systems. Implemented an ESB/SOA architecture with EventSourcing and RabbitMQ that sped up file processing, and established a CI pipeline with quality gates and automated deployments.
Built package-delivery systems at scale using SOA, EventSourcing, and CQRS. Integrated 40+ autonomous components into one modular logistics application, applying Domain-Driven Design and TDD under senior architecture mentorship.
